Notts County's players put a smile on faces of the young children at the Queens Medical Centre on April 7 by delivering Easter treats to the youngsters.

Chloe Cotton Trust Fund Opening, Burton Joyce
April 6
A family who lost their 12-year-old daughter to Cystic Fibrosos have set up a national help centre to assist other sufferers and their families.Jez and Michelle Cotton have set up the Chloe Cotton Trust Fund in Burton Joyce in memory of their daughter.
They celebrated by inviting patrons Jane Torvill and Christopher Dean to a grand opening on April 6.
Nottingham Restaurant Awards Launch, Bluu
March 26
It's that time of year again as resturanteurs go head to head in the Nottingham Restaurant Awards.
The launch party at Bluu in the Lace Market saw hundreds of diner owners and staff mix with sponsors ahead of the voting period that gets underway on April 1.
New awards for 2009 include Best Set Lunch Menu and and Best Local Producer/ Supplier.
 
 
 
 
Access Training Red Nose Day Fundraising
March 11
 
Access Training got into the spirit of Red Nose Day on March 11 with a series of fun events to raise money for the worthy cause.
Tutors oversaw learners' hard work and weeks of preparation pay off with successful hairdressing sessions, a flea market, tombola, raffle, cake making and car washing for the general public.
 
The highlight was director Ian Cohen's appearance in a mud bath outside Access' premises on Cliff Street publicising the fundraising effort to passers by.
